How UkulhasMaldives.com earns revenue and how commercial relationships affect what you see.

The short version
UkulhasMaldives.com is free for visitors. We earn money when you click certain links and make a booking on a partner website. This costs you nothing extra. The commission helps keep the guide running and the content free.
How affiliate links work
When a hotel or activity on our page has an affiliate booking link, you will see a
button such as "View current rates" or "Check availability." Clicking that button
takes you to our redirect page at /go/[link-id], which then forwards you
to the partner booking site.
The partner site may pay us a commission if you complete a booking. The amount varies by partner and booking type. You do not pay more than you would if you visited the partner site directly.
What we are not
- We are not a booking platform. We do not process payments or take reservations.
- We are not a travel agent. We do not negotiate rates or manage your itinerary.
- We do not guarantee prices, availability, or booking outcomes.
- The partner website you are sent to controls its own pricing, terms, and policies. Their customer support handles booking issues, not ours.
Editorial independence
Affiliate relationships do not determine which properties and businesses we include on this site. We write about all verified properties on Ukulhas Island regardless of whether they have an affiliate link.
Commercial arrangements do not influence the content of our guides, reviews, or recommendations. If a property pays for a "Featured Partner" placement, it is labelled as such. It does not change how we write about it editorially.
Enquiries and lead generation
Some properties do not yet have an affiliate booking link. For those, we offer an enquiry form for UkulhasMaldives.com manual follow-up. This is not a booking and it is not a direct message to the property. We may help route an enquiry where appropriate, but we do not guarantee forwarding or a property response. For urgent bookings, contact the property or booking partner directly. No commission is applied to direct enquiries.
Email signups and lead magnets
If you sign up for a trip-planning guide or email update, we may share anonymised, aggregated data (such as email domain and signup source) for analytics purposes. We do not sell your email address to third parties.
Featured Partner placements
Some pages include "Featured Partner" badges on certain listings. This indicates a commercial arrangement where the provider pays for enhanced visibility. These placements are clearly labelled and do not affect the editorial content on the page.
Partners we may work with
Our affiliate partners may include international booking platforms and travel service providers. The specific partners may change over time. We only work with established, recognised platforms. The presence of an affiliate link does not constitute an endorsement of that partner beyond the fact that we believe they provide a useful booking option.
